Huw is a serial entrepreneur and 4th Dimension's strategy, finance and operations specialist. A chartered accountant, Huw has been running small and medium sized businesses since 1988, including a business which he founded in 1993 and sold for £24m in 1999. Specific areas of expertise include:
- Business planning and strategy
- Growth and change management
- Raising equity and debt finance and liaising with investors and banks
- Property acquisition
- Construction
- Operations and marketing across a broad spectrum of businesses
- Financial systems and control
Huw has also held various non executive directorships (mostly as chairman) over the last ten years in sectors including: publishing; health and fitness clubs; fitness equipment; residential development and clothing. These appointments have largely been at the request of the shareholders.
